Default Do you take clothes to the cleaners very often?

I take most of my boyfriend's shirts and pants to the cleaners, even his casual wear, with the exception of jean shorts. I like the way the colors never fade, they always look new and the clothes never have to be ironed. I never iron clothes unless I am going to wear them that day. I never iron for anyone else in the house either.

I only take my dresses and items that have to be professionally cleaned.

Yes I go to the cleaners sometimes once a week. But I love the smell of the cleaners store.

Yes, that is the only way to keep your clothes looking good, I only take my work clothes there.

I take mine to the cleaners only because a lot of my clothes are slacks and blouses, and I take my husbands slacks and suits to the cleaners as well. But everything else I wash on my own.

I have practically nothing that requires dry cleaning, and those things I wear once in a blue moon, so maybe once or twice a year? If I have anything, I usually just add it to my mom's pile. She wears nicer stuff to work. I wear nice stuff to work and people look at me funny.

^ I work in a call center so I spend 99.9% of the time in jeans and sneakers. Plus, I wash all my clothes in the gentle cycle, so everything seems to last longer.

I try to avoid buying things that need to be dry cleaned. Although I will need to take my bridesmaid's dress in.

Only about three times a year these days. When I worked in corporate, I used to spend a fortune on dry cleaning and tailoring. Our tailor was the nicest old man. He lost his entire family in the Holocaust when he was 17. I used to go from shopping at the mall to his shop, with an arm full of suits and dresses. I like my clothes tailored. For some reason, the arms of suits and dresses were always too long, and I don't have short arms. Same goes for many of the pants on pantsuits. I was a real clothes horse back in the day.

Maybe twice a year, most of our clothes can be washed & ironed at home, but a few things have to go to the cleaners.
