Paul at Prep School - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

When Kevin went to high school, it was mentioned that Paul would be attending prep school. I missed a rerun or two and now I see Paul attending Kevin's high school. Was a reason given for Paul's no longer attending prep school?

I think the reason had to do with the Pfeiffers losing the land they invested in, as we saw at the end of Episode #79, "Pfeiffer's Fortune", where they are members of a country club. Alvin (the father) received a phone call, and he started crying, and he said, "It's gone!" and "The whole shebang!"

To which Debbie (the daughter) said, "Not the beachfront property!"

Yeah and at the very end, him and Kevin were talking and the narration said that the next semester, he went to McKinley High with Kevin.
