Default Cannon on DVD

Who here would like to see that great detective show starring William Conrad, Cannon, that ran from 1971 to 1977 on DVD? I'd love to. Does anyone know which studio owns the rights to this show? Does anyone remember this show? Thanks, Michael

Default Cannon Complete DVD Set

Hello There

I was just checking the site out for a few moments, and saw a couple of you mention "Cannon". Don't know if anyone would be interested or not, but I have the Complete Cannon Series on DVD. It's (38) DVD's in length, and the Video/Audio Quality I would rate a 7.5 to an 8/10. Recorder from Tv. of course, it sure is great owning it. I have just loved being able to watch that series all over again.

Sincerely,

Default frank cannon!

I too miss the old detectives of the late 60s and early 70s. I bought homemade sets of Mannix and Cannon recently on iOffer. The first season of Mannix was from TVLand Canada--which means it was uncut and runs about 51 minutes, and the remaining seasons came from TVLand USA and is cut and runs 44 minutes.

The Cannons all seem to come from TVLand Canada and run 51 minutes with the bumpers: "Cannon will return after this station identification..."

I am watching a Mannix and Cannon most evenings. Beats the heck out of broadcast TV in the summer! And it is fun to see the young stars who only had a line or two of dialogue--but are quite famous today.

Peace,
Phil

I don't know who has the rights to it; but it's probably Paramount; because it's a Quinn Martin show and Paramount owns THE FUGITIVE which was also a Quinn Martin show.

The show is owned by Paramount. Sorry to hear to bootlegs are such poor quality. When people say 7.5, it usually means that it's about a 3rd or 4th generation dub. I can't watch stuff that dubby, especially on DVD which accentuates the flaws.

As for Mannix, it must have been taped later in the run. When TV Land premiered, Mannix ran uncut.

I'd like to see it on DVD. I really enjoyed the cop/detective shows of the 60s-70s.

Mannix, Kojak, Hawaii Five-0, etc...
