Florence Henderson was in the Indy 500 Festival Parade on Saturday. I said "Florence! I love you!" She looked at me and smiled, then said very matter of factly "Thank you so much! I love YOU too!" It made my year! What a nice lady...every bit the personality of Carol Brady. I love the show even more now!

That's cool. I think if I were to actually meet her in person, I wouldn't be able to hide my excitement. So to speak.

She is more beautiful in person. She actually made the younger stars there look ordinary. Her eyes were beautiful and sparkling. When she spoke to me, it was as if she were speaking to all Brady fans of our generation. It was a sincere thanks to us...that's how I took it....she knows how much the show means to so many, and she is grateful. Like I said, I love the show even more now.

You lucky dude! I always (hell, i STILL DO) wish that I had a mom more like Carol. The Brady Bunch and what the Bradys stood for will forever have a special place in my heart. You will probably always remember meeting such a great lady -- and you can bet the sincerity of what she said to you as well.

Everything I've heard and read about Florence indicates that she really, really, REALLY appreciates her fans and fans of the show. You gotta love someone like that!
