Default Why did the Studio Audience seemed so SCARED when Arnold and Dudley was hiding in

back of the Cab before Knight Rider saw them in the back seat?-lol They had to know that Arnold and Dudley were not really going to get blown up while in that car.-lol I swear they must have been some DUMB people

or they were told to "react" that way. I admit though, we don't need an audience sounding "scared" to make a cheesy scene look more cheesy. It's pitiful.

That is true, when I was in LA, I went to a taping of a sitcom, and there is a guy or girl in the audience that preps the crowd and basically tells them what to react to.

Yeah, they do that A LOT. It's more than just "applause" and so forth.

Solomon, if it scared you as a 9 year old, then it worked. I think the show was geared towards a younger audience, therefore, who do you think they were trying to scare? The adult viewers? I don't think so.

She must have been to most of the tapings. She was like that lady on Showtime at the Apollo, that old lady who always sat in the middle of the front row, dancing and waving her arms around.

I think she died. I remember them making a special tribute to her, but wasn't sure if it was because she died. There is even a small plaque on that chair I believe.

Either that or that was some serious canned laughter. If she was part of the show, she should have been as the "loudmouthed lady in the audience".
