Default So Mr. T was trying to BOOST the Ratings for Diff'rent Strokes?

He damm sure wasn't on Diffrent Strokes to boost the ratings of the NEW Show at the Time, "A-Team"-lol The A-Team finished it's first season in the Top 10 so I guess they were trying to pull some of the A-Team viewers over to Diffrent strokes

BTW: Arnold looked like a African Girl when he was changed himself into Mr. T since he didn't have any facial Hair-LOL

The Mr. T episode was better than when they tried to Knock off the Mr. T character by having a woman bodyguard for Mr. Drummond called Mrs. T.

The A-Team was actually in its second season at the time(it had debuted
on NBC in January 1983).

Nope, I never said recheck the post. I said that the A-Team was a New show at the Time which had just completed a successful first seeason that was a HIT and that's why I figured he was on there to help the sagging ratings of DS

Don't forget the 1984 Olympic medalists at the time, too.

They were hot stuff back in the 80s because of that event during that time.

I agree with the previous post Mr. T was so popular back then and he was everywhere. Didn't he even have a Mr. T doll or should I say action figure? Wasnt the A team on NBC and DS on ABC? I can't remember.
