The Bob Newhart Show... The Mary Tyler Moore Show... Rhoda... Phyliss... Lou Grant... WKRP... and countless others... exist in the MTM library. Where are these episodes? Sitting, waiting to be picked up and noticed... in the vaults of Fox's vast amounts of shows and films... yep, they're just lying there dying to be picked up. They're ready for their close-up. Be noticed... make a difference! On June 5th, a petition is going to be started... everyone e-mail Fox and tell them how badly you want the remaining MTM properties to be released in the near future. Someone please spread the word over to the Home Theater Forum. Maybe over there people can just make a huge gigantic thread (since more people frequent there in a day than here) and email them with the link to the thread.

Make a difference--- Save Bob, Mary, Rhoda, Phyliss, Lou, Dr. Johnny Fever, and the rest--- petition on June 5th for the left-in-the-dust MTM franchise. Get with it, Fox!

I thought MTM was doing well as far as sales went. After the 2nd season I bought them all as they were released and for 20.99 you couldnt go wrong.

I agree that the sets are a steal, but Fox expects the MTM series to sell as well as contemporary hits such as THE SIMPSONS and FAMILY GUY. And if they don't, good riddance to the shows... I think that Fox looks at classic TV shows as nothing but a burden to them. They only want the contemporary shows and movies released... I wish they were more like PHE, even though they have the fanciest prices for the most lackluster sets, at least they still release the classics.
