Which chracter would you have wrote off from the show - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

if you were one of the writers on the fresh prince of bel air and had the opportunity to write off or give a sending off to one of the main characters from the show, who would have it been, why and what storyline would you have proposed?

mine would be hilary because she is so self absorbed, shallow, materialistic. and as for the storyline, she gets discovered by some executive of some tv company, who are looking for a new chat show host and surprise, surprise hilary is selected out of all the applicants. the thing is though, it is in a foreign english speaking country, that way with her not being in the US we wouldn't have to put up with or hear from her again

I don't know why so many FP fans dislike Hilary! I thought she was hillarious!!!!

I like Hilary too! But I wouldn't write anybody off, even if Ashley became my least favorite.

To me, Hillary was a typical Banks' child since she was the oldest and used to the family having the money. Ditto for Carlton and Ashley seemed like the one was the normal one out of the family.

I would have never done the Nicky storyline. The Banks' Family did not need another child. If I was calling the shots, we would have worked to hide Janet's pregnancy by having her sitting down or standing behind objects during her scenes.

I would have also developed Tyra Bank's character and had her and Will in a relationship during season five where they eventually realize that they have grown apart.

I'm okay with Nicky. He's actually one of best let's-add-a-little-kid-to-get-some-cuteness-factor-to-the-show characters ever.
