"Don't Call Me Muffy" stars Drew Carey and Mary Tyler Moore. Carey plays Neal Savage, a popular conservative talk-show host who, to the chagrin of Mary Marcus [Moore], is the most listened-to host on the radio station that Mary runs. Mary gets annoyed whenever Neal pokes fun at the liberal causes she espouses such as animal-rights and feminism, worse, to Mary, Neal keeps calling her "Muffy", and is repeatedly told not to do it again, but Neal never gives in. Attempts to silence Neal fail time and again. Also in the cast are Kirsten Dunst as Linda Bancroft, his producer and ally, and David Leisure as Dan Costas, his newscaster.

June Lockhart will appear in a recurring spot, playing M.F. [Marlene Frances] Kavner, whose family owns the station Neal works at. M.F. threatens to fire Mary if the latter ever decides to pull the plug on Neal's show.
