Here is a lovely intelligent woman whos married to a mobster kingpin Tony Soprano and she believes just about everything he tells her he lies to her about killing ppl even friends and family members she believes him he has sex with alot of other women he gives her some bs about where he's going etc and shet believes him. My point is if shes as smart as she appears why dont she just divorce him somebopdy explain it to me

She did kick him out of the house and demanded a divorce, but Tony had contacts with every divorce lawyer in NJ and Carmella couldn't do a thing.

Carmella is a very good profile of "Mafia women". They're not stupid - they know EXACTLY what's going on, but put up with it because the guys turn them on with their power, and they love the "lifestyle" of living wealthy. They'll accept extra marital affairs as long as he "doesn't bring it home" - in other words, they're discreet about it. Quite often the wives are fooling around themselves after the kids are mostly grown.

I remember that now but she cheated on him with some guy I believe he was a professor and she had the hots for the younger guy with the long black hair dont think they had sex but they might have.

She's getting what she deserves for the lifestyle tony provides for her now that I think about it why should she leave so what they fight and yell but they stick together

She was separated from Tony when she slept with the professor and she only lusted after Furio. She never slept with him.

Didnt furio work for tony in some way what happened to him did the character get killed off the show

He did work for Tony, but he fell in love with Carmella. Instead of killing Tony, he decided to leave New Jersey and head back to Italy.
