Another eye-roller episode!

Does anybody remember this episode much? I think Mel buys a robot waitress so he can fire one of the girls to save wages or something. Anyway another unrealistic Alice episode.

The episode is from S8,"The Robot That Wore Pink" and it is up on AOL In2TV. The storyline was that Alice,Vera and Jolene were discussing an episode of 60 Minutes about Japanese workers and how they were treated better than Mel treats them.
Alice wanted worker meetings,raise,more respect,etc and when Mel wouldn't agree to her terms,Alice quit.
Mel replaced her with Blanche the robot,who could pour cream from her finger and work faster than humans. More customers came to the diner because of the robot and both Jolene and Vera quit. The robot went out of control toward the end of the episode,when the girls came back to pick up their last checks. The robot attacked Mel when he fired her,Alice pulled out the battery pack which disabled the robot and then of course they all returned to work at the diner.
