Default Favorite Lucy movie??

Mine is definitely Yours, Mine and Ours. I watched it today for the first time in years.

Here's a couple of fun facts: Tracy Nelson plays one of the baby girls, and she shares a very brief scene with the family doctor played by Tom Bosley. Some 20 years later they would co-star in Father Dowling Mysteries. Tim Matheson (Mike Beardsley) and Jennifer Leak (Colleen North Beardsley) met on the set and married shortly thereafter. Sadly, the marriage didn't last long and they parted ways after only a couple of years.

My favorite scene is when they move to the new house, it storms and the power goes out. Love the calamity that ensues.

Close second would be Long, Long Trailer.

Morgan Brittany appeared as the teen daughter who fainted in the bathroom. She was known back then as Suzanne Cupito. She grew up and SHOT J.R. EWING on Dallas.

Those are my choices girlfriend. I can't decide which I like more. Those two are the tops!!!!!!

I love "Yours, Mine and Ours" and "The Long, Long Trailer," (even though I haven't seen it in years).

If you want to check out something a little different, watch "Stage Door," from 1937 with Katherine Hepburn, Ginger Rogers, Eve Arden and more.

In my opinion, Lucille Ball steals the show!

Yours, Mine & Ours was the best. She should have done more movies in the late 50's & 60's, but I guess she was too busy with her tv shows.

My favorite Lucy movie is Yours, Mine, And Ours. I loved the scene where the Beardsley boys get her drunk, LOL. Second favorite is The Long Long Trailer followed by one of her early ones called, The Big Street which also stars Henry Fonda, and Agnes Moorehead.

All day long this has been running through my head: "I'm 11 red A, I'm 11 red A, I'm 11 red A."

I wonder whatever happened to the child actors of this film. I know Tim Matheson and Tracy Nelson are still in show business, and Gary Goetzman (Greg) became a very successful producer (he co-produced My Big Fat Greek Wedding with Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, and also co-produced Band of Brothers). Even Eric Shea and Mitch Vogel retired from the industry.

Someone really should do a "where are they now" special about all the 18 "kids" who did the movie. I'm sure there are some fascinating stories to tell. Why not, the movie's 40th anniversary is next year; it would be a perfect tie-in!!

Oh my gosh! I love "Stone Pillow". Such an awesome movie! I totally recommend it! Lucy really shined in this one and it touched my heart. She threw in some laughs but it was mostly dramatic and it was great.

I forgot about this one, I really liked it too. Daphny Zuniga looked so much like Lucie Arnaz.

Yours, Mine and Ours was superb.

I finally got to see "The Long Long Trailer" a few months ago for the first time all the way through, and I thought it was fantastic.

I also recently saw a Lucy / Bob Hope movie on Turner Classics called "The Facts of Life", from 1960. I liked that one a lot as well.

I've seen parts of "The Fuller Brush Girl" with Lucy and Eddie Albert (Mel Blanc also has a bit part as the voice of a parrot). I liked what I saw of that one, but I've never seen the whole thing all the way through.

Lucy had a prolific movie career from the mid 30s to the mid 60s... but I've only seen a (small) fraction (unfortunately) of what she's done on the big screen.
