Tina and Michelle

Starring Jennifer Coolidge and Kristin Cavallari as a mother-daughter duo living in their Santa Barbara condo in California. Jennifer Coolidge plays Tina Sherwood, a 40-something ex-model who is always in search of her youth. Kristin Cavallari plays Michelle Sherwood, a 21-year-old cute cocktail waitress who childhood took second to taking care of her self-absorbed, secretly-unstable mother. Tina worked as an once-famous teen model who's career quickly fizzled away after Tina had gotten pregnant with her daughter (Michelle), who was fathered by her photographer/agent--who later found out he was a father then dropped Tina as a client then moved away. Tina's relationship with her parents was started to become rocky and then turned nonexistent, after they disowned her after being persistent about becoming a teen model-then had gotten knocked up and becoming a single mom. With no one around to support her, Tina decided to work her "youthful charm" to snag a rich, older businessman-who later married her. Then after 12 years of marriage, also known as neglection and betrayal, Tina and her now ex-husband, Greg Murphy (Tom Selleck) get divorced. Then Tina finds a job as a talent scout for a modeling agency in Santa Barbara, where she continues to work now with co-worker and longtime best friend, Veronica Vassey (Kirstie Alley)-a fellow former teen model. Michelle has grown up to be a beautiful, confident, and independent young woman who works a popular cocktail bar downtown, where Michelle works as a cocktail waitress, along with her three diverse friends and co-workers: the single mother, Heather Johnson (Sara Rue), the sassy and quick-witted, Nikki Van Lanen (Niecy Nash), and the petite fashionista, Cassie Haven (Allison Munn).

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
It's Michelle's 21st Birthday. She is celebrating her birthday and their night off with Cassie, Nikki, and Heather while barhopping. While out and about, the foursome bumps into Tina and Ronnie while at a male stripclub. Then the six women decide to have a good time together celebrating Michelle's birthday together. Meanwhile, the four cocktail waitress discuss about a rumor of a new business owner buying the cocktail bar that they work at...turns out to be Greg Murphy (Michelle's ex-stepdad).

Ep2: Meeting The New Owner:
Michelle, Nikki, Cassie, Heather, and other employees have a meeting with the new bar owner, Greg. Michelle and Greg immediately are reacquainted with each other once again, after seven years since his and Tina's divorce. Michelle informs Cassie, Heather, and Nikki about how she knows Greg, and immediately the three other girls shared the hatred for Greg as much as Michelle (yet Michelle secretly blames Greg for driving her mom to have an affair, and for having Tina "neglect" Michelle during her childhood----and unbeknownst to Tina, and Michelle's three friends- Greg inappropriately touched Michelle several times as a preteen). Through the grapevine, Tina (and Ronnie) learn that Greg has bought the cocktail bar that Michelle and her girlfriends work at.
