I been watching this show for couple years. I was just wondering why they have tim as the host and al as his Assistants.. Everyone who watch the show liked al. if tim was somewhere they would awalys ask for a autograph but they would always ask for al. It also seemed al new more about tools them tim did. I always wondering why they didn't let al host tool time. their was epsiodes where they showed al hosted tool time. said it was one worst shows when al hosted tool time on tv.

In the episode called "A Battle of Wheels" in season 1 Tim & Al switch positions on Tool Time!!!
