Roxann Jeeves
In an unrelated thread I read about Roxann Jeeves and her son Kristopher (thanks CD, it all started with the avatar!) who were murdered on his b-day. I've never seen this story (or at least that I remember). I understand the murderer was found? What was his motive?
Thanks! ps-also never seen the Patricia Meehan one, but how bizarre indeed, she just wandered away, dazed and confused (LOL) ? |

Well as far as Patricia Meehan, I do agree it was strange but they did say that she going through some depression, possibly even a midlife crisis, before the accident. I think she was already having problems and the trauma of the car accident just pushed her over the edge. |

The murderers motive was probably rape and robbery and the fact that he just had a genuine desire to cause some harm to someone. George Washington Hicks, when he was identified through DNA I believe was already serving an 80 year sentence for a string of rapes when he was identified as the murderer. He received I believe two life sentences for the murders. However it was based on 1981 law and at that time in Texas there was no LWOP and people became eligible for parole after serving 15 years of a life sentence.
