Default Alice gets bonus airing on ION/Sat-May 19

According to my TV Guide Channel, Alice will get a bonus airing on Saturday, May 19 on ION at 10:30PM...don't fret if you are recording these, it is "The Indian" episode that has already aired. The movie runs to the half hour that night and they needed to fill, choosing Alice is a good sign that the ratings are stable and they are testing an additional run.

Thanks for the heads up. It is funny that they put on one of the worst episodes on to test Saturdays. lol

Well if they are showing a episode WHICH WAS HORRIBLE that already aired during the week, how is it a Bonus airing?

To my always negative friend:

The television definition of a "bonus airing" is scheduling a show in a time period where it is not normally shown, it has nothing to do with the episode title or the quality of the episode, as my fellow NJ friend Pav stated "yes Alice is being used as random filler" but putting it in a latter time period it can still find new random viewers that may learn that Alice is being shown on ION. As with when you get a bonus at Christmas, again the definition is when you get more than you usually expect...thus it airing at 10:30PM is a bonus....whew.......

Well I'm still going to disagree, I would just label as a EXTRA airing. My defintion of BONUS is something airing that was NEVER SEEN before.

If there is nothing else on tv at that hour I will watch it. It is not one of my fave episodes, but it is better than a boring night on television. This coming from someone who has over 100 something channels and premium cable channels.

We shall see. I haven't seen what the schedule is for that time period. There has been many a time where there wasn't sh*t on television and I would resort to something that I wouldn't normally watch.

That's my one pet peeve about ION. When they show a "bonus" episode of a sitcom that currently has a time slot, its always an episode they've already shown within just the past few weeks. They did this with Wonder Years and Growing Pains during the last few months.

That is wonderful news! I love watching that silly show! Linda Lavin, Polly Holliday, Vera (don't know her real name) and Vic Tayback are so awesome!

Yeah, thanks so much for letting us know! I might tape it or maybe watch it on television when it comes on.
