'The Dark Knight' to Face New Villain named Gamble - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

MTV has learned that rapper/actor David Banner auditioned this week for the part of a new villain named “Gamble” in The Dark Knight. More than likely, he will be one of Heath Ledger's Joker henchmen.

I know this is not the original post but I wonder how they will explain the absense of Rachel Dawes from the sequel?

Rachel Dawes has been recast. It is now Maggie Gyllenhall in the part.

In other words, they got an actual actress to play Rachel this time.

I heard the real reason Katie Holmes is not in the sequel is because the plotline is about the Joker starting a crazy cult called Jokerology in order to brainwash the citizens of Gotham.
