Did anyone's farewell make your jaw drop, make you cry, make you scream at your TV, or even make you jump up for joy?
I felt sad for almost all of the contestants eliminated (Even if I didn't like them), but a few reactions stick out in my mind... I was dumbfounded when AJ Tabaldo and Sabrina Sloan were cut in the semifinals. They both deserved to advance further. I cried like a freaking baby when Gina Glocksen got booted. She was my second overall fave and my fave girl. It was sad seeing her so torn up over it. Plus, it was shocking that she left on one of her best nights (at least IMO). I ALMOST cried when Chris Sligh got eliminated because he was one of my original faves and I kinda expected him to go further. I also almost cried when Sanjaya Malakar got eliminated. I didn't like his singing, but it was sad to see him cry...poor guy's gotten so much crap from the media and their mamas. Still gotta admit the guy's a good entertainer. But that seemed like a really emotional night overall... I was shocked when Phil Stacey got cut. I thought he'd make the top four cuz it seemed like he was improving week after week. I was reaaaallly sad when Chris Richardson (My favorite ) got the boot and I did cry, but not as much as I expected to. All the moments with Blake made me kinda happy, actually, LOL. The days after though were a lot sadder for me because after seeing him on talk shows and in interviews it hit me that I wouldn't be seeing him for a while. ![]() And Melinda Doolittle...wow. Honestly, that was more shocking for me than Chris Daughtry's elimination last season. It wasn't just shock either...it was a raging mix of sadness/anger/bitterness. I cried when Chris D. got the boot. This year with Melinda I got really teary-eyed but for the most part I was too shocked to shed even one tear. I know for sure I'll cry next week with Blake in the finale. ![]() Now you all know how attached I am to this damn show. Your turn to share!

I was like O_O when Melinda got eliminated. I was like 'HELL NO!', but I moved on. I wasn't a fan of her, but I feel she deserved to win. I wasn't that sad when my C-Rich got eliminated, even though he's my favorite, because he was up there with his wifey in the bottom 2, and I had prepared myself for his elimination. So yeah, it comforted me a little bit, seeing the love between C-Rich and Blake.
I felt sad for Philbert, and Sanjaya. Especially Sanjipoo, when he started to cry. I just wanted to hug him. And Phil is just such an amazing person, I felt bad for him. I was pissed when Chris Sligh got eliminated because I felt he deserved to stay over Haley. I was sad for KiKi, 'cause she's awesome, and she's my homegirl. For top 24, I was sad when Paul Kim got eliminated. More disappointed, though, really. He was my ORIGINAL favorite, and I had high hopes for him. I think that's all, folks.

I've never cried over an elimination on any season, but there were many that upset me. I wasn't shocked that Phil went home but I was upset because he is my favorite and I thought he deserved to go farther--especially after that performance. It really wasn't the same watching the show with him not in it. It was like there was nothing to look forward to.
I was completely shocked when Melinda got the boot because I predicted her to win all season and I really think she deserved to win. By far the most shocked I have ever been over an elimination. That was unbelievable. I felt kind of bad for Sanjaya even though he needed to go and I wanted him gone because he cried so hard. But, the one I was most upset about this season was Phil. It always upsets me when my favorite leaves. I've never had a favorite make it farther than third. |

I felt bad for Sanjaya and Haley because of all they went through. More for Sanjaya though because he was entertaining and I knew the show would get boring with him out. Sanjaya I thought was cute though lol. And Chris R I was sad he left because he was hot lol.

I guess I'm in the minority when it comes to Sanjaya. When he got bounced, I was thrilled. I about did a happy dance! lol I was balling like a baby when Phil got booted. Phil was and is my favorite contestant this year.
