Default Whatever happened to the Ramseys??

Why aren't the Ramsey's(and their little boy Bruce) seen in The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour?? After all it's still part of ILL and they still live in Connecticut.

Good point! I guess they didn't fit into the stories that involved the guest celebrities. The transition between ILL and LDCH is strange and full of descrepancies. The house is the same, the five main characters are the same, Ricky's workplace is the same, there are references to their past life in New York, but the similarities seem to end there. All the neighbors are gone, Fred the dog is gone and the view through the back window is different; a house is missing. Lucy's mother only appears in one scene (Japan) and we never see Ricky at work like we constantly did before.

At least we can depend on Fred and Ethel's banter!

A house is missing? Well maybe that explains why the Ramseys' are gone! Maybe the missing house was theirs and it got condemned by the city of Westport and was torn down. Or if the missing house wasn't theirs, perhaps they sold their house to Tallulah Bankhead or Ernie Kovacs. And Little Ricky gave Fred the dog to Bruce Ramsey as a going away present.

It was nice that Mary Jane Croft went on to The Lucy Show as "Mary Jane Lewis" and "Audrey Simmons" (Audrey in earlier eps):

But my favorite I Love Lucy episode for her wasn't as Betty, it was as the woman on the plane returning from Europe in which Lucy takes a big cheese on board under the guise of a baby!

I missed seeing the Applebees. I don't see why they couldn't visit the Ricardos at least once.

I agree. I liked the Caroline (Lillian) Appleby character. They could have done a later episode where they visited and there was still a conflict between Little Ricky/Stevie and Lucy/Caroline. Lucy and Doris Singleton had some good chemistry; I loved when Caroline visited in Hollywood.

Yes, they could have done an episode with them again. It would have been cute to see them all together, especially the kids.

I believe Fred the dog is still around (but not seen) as late as "Lucy Wins a Racehorse".
