Default Yes Brieanna I watched good Times last Night, the ep with the Evans cleaning up Ned

and so many questions just came up after watching this episode again.

1. Why would James give him NICE clothes to a Wino to Wear?

2. Why was Florida and james trying to Explain to a 12 year old WHY it wasn;t a good idea to have Ned stay at their home?

3. Why did the two people who went back to look at the Evans bedroom shut the Door?

4. Why did the lady who was married to Ned willing to bring him back home and Ned had no JOB?

5. And more Importantly why would the Evans take a Wino who was always in the gutter inside their BATHROOM????

I was flicking channels and stumbled across this episode and figured I would analyze it-lol

I'll try to answer some of these.

1. They were trying to win a contest. Why would they want Ned sitting there in OLD clothes, looking a hot mess? They wanted him to look nice since they were trying to win this contest.

2. You must not be a parent. Parents try to instill good morals in their children. You should always explain things to a child, whether it's good or bad, so they can make good decisions themselves about certain situations.

3. I don't know.....maybe they wanted to get their freak on real quick. LOL There may have been no reason....just part of the script.

4. Well, he was her husband, and I guess she just wanted him home where he belonged. He didn't look too bad once they got him cleaned up. Hey, he could get a job at Mickey D's....LOL

5. Where else were they gonna take him? In the BEDROOM? Would you want a dirty, stinky man sitting on your bed?

Sitcom Gyrl, I don't know if you know the rules of SitcomsOnline TV board but statements like-"IT was in the script" are not acceptable on this board-lol

As for telling Michael, I think because Michael was "older" than his age, James and Florida became used to speaking to him in a certain manner. He certainly seemed to understand everything his parents explained to him.

As for the couple going into the room, I think they shut the door because the bedroom wasn't set up as it was when we see it from the inside. When I see the bedroom from the living room, we see the bed, but I don't expect that the dresser and the other things are layed out, since it is a different view/a different set up. It would have looked awkward for the couple to just stand there and evaluate the room since they couldn't actually "walk around" like a real bedroom.

As far as giving Ned some NICE clothes to wear, James made it clear that he had some OLD clothes in the back of the closet to wear. Even as a six year old, I remember that line. LOL.
