She was just too inconsiderate and rude in this episode...especially a Xmas episode. Weird.

Well I'll have to agree with Alice. Mel had a car, and when he found out that Alice plans were falling through he could have offered to drive them out of the kindness of his heart. The way he did it would have made me feel pretty small, if I were thinking all along that someone was trying to help me and just being nice, but then find out that they did it for the money.

I guess I can see your point, but Mel did initially off to take the Semi to drive Alice, not to make $200 bucks.
