Default This show may not be over yet!

At least according to network sources who say it's fate would be determined after the upfront '07-'08 schedules are announced....

http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news.a.../16/07&id=7390

I don't know just how many more shows ATJ would have, but a midseason replacement allotment could be in order for it if ABC opts to keep it alive for next year, even though it's unannounced on the fall schedule.

Keep fingers crossed!

The season finale that aired tonight, with the tribute to Jim, didn't look promising for its return.

According to Jim and George Lopez should have a series finale bidding farewell. The way these two shows were jumbled around this past season is no wonder the ratings were not that great. I am a fan of both shows and I had a hard time figuring out when they were airing.

I posted this before the show tonight, but yeah Richee, that finale seemed a lot like the ending that King Of Queens had the other night. Let's hope it's not the same farewell.

The funny thing is that tonight's show was the 16th episode produced this year out of 18 that they made. So it's the season (series?) finale, but there were still two episodes that they made after it. "The At-Bat" which aired on April 4th is actually the final episode they shot. That was the one where the ghost of Andy shows Jim how adult Kyle's life turns out after first, not getting a hit in a baseball game, and then afterwards, when he did get a hit. It's kind of odd that these get shot out of sequence like that. That thing aired over a month ago.

I hope it's not the end of According to Jim... but I think they put the episodes in that order on purpose, just incase they decide to cancel the series, it will end the way it did.

But, I think they put the show on the back-burner just incase one of these new shows, probably the dumb Cavemen one, fails.. then they will send the cast back into the studio to film new episodes, in the meantime airing reruns.

As for the George Lopez show.. I believe that show can be saved due to a loophole. But as far as According to Jim goes, if it's cancelled, it's gone.. and that's not good news to us fans!

Jim isn't on the fall schedule, neither is George Lopez.
