If anyone has a good or bad trader experience, please post them. It will help alot of people in their decision whether to trade with that person or not. Also, if you like, you can post if anyone has traded with ( person's name ) and if they are a bad trader, you will sure hear about it. This has helped me on other groups that trade tapes and maybe it will help here as well.

I would definetly recommend tape trading, one piece of advice I would give is E-Mail the person back and forwards about six times before sending money so you can judge their character.
When I traded I got my tape quickly and it had even more on than I thought. |

Good advice. I did a trade with an individual in Brazil and although no money was exchanged , we did alot of e mails before trading and it was a good trade.

That is a good idea. Check with others to see if the person is reliable. Also give away free tapes in contests. LOL. That is an attention grabber. Although I personally have never tried it. LOL.
Actually continue to keep in contact with that person and if you have received your part of the trade and have not shipped yet to another, it is always good to update the person that way they won't feel they have been ripped off. I wouldn't dare try to rip off someone. Too many people know me on this board so I'd be in Big Trouble if it ever happened. |

I gave away some classic tv shows on another website and it went very well. The shows I had were all uncut and some had the original commercials . It was very successful.

Well, I've had one bad experience in NASCAR Tape Trading (I've now departed it for Game Show Tape Trading)...
Follow this...... I set up a trade with Matt 3 race trade... I get 2 tapes (one tape is supposed to have 2 races...) The 2nd tape is fine. The 1st tape is actually taped in SP and cuts off before the end of it, so no complete 1st Race OR the entire 2nd race. Other than that's it's been all good. Say, Thomas, when's your next tape giveaway?????? |
