I'm looking for words to song from skit done - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi, I'm looking for the words to a song done on The Dick VanDyke Show. All I can remember is" Abba dabba said the monkey to the chimp" A friend of mine said that she remembered it was part of a skit on the show. I've been all over the internet trying to find the words to it. I sing it to my grandson. Thanks for any help!

I don't remember that song ever being sung on TDVDS and I've seen every episode of it.; but I do remember Penny Marshal & Cindy Williams doing it on a christmas episode of LAVERNE & SHIRLEY once.
Sorry; I don't know the words though.

I don't recall it ever being performed on TDVDS, but the song is "Aba Daba Honeymoon". You can find the lyrics here.
