Can you live with them or without them ?
I can live without my cell phone. Yes it's nice to have but i don't talk on my cell 24/7 like i see some people do. I also don't like when i'm in my car i see like everybody on a cell phone driving. |

I have mine for emergencies only; like you, I don't talk on it all the time but it's good to have it just in case. My boyfriend uses his all the time; that's his main line. In my opinion, some people overuse their cell phones too much. |

I had one through my job. But I was using it off the clock, so they took it away. I am going to get one, not because of the fad, but for emergencies. I am not a phone person.

I could live without it. Since I got it last summer, I may have used it 15 times.

I can't live without mine. I take it with me wherever I go. I got rid of my land line in my apartment a few years ago, so it's my only means of communication.
And it allows me to send annoying text messages to my friends at all hours.

I'm not a phone person either. I really only have mine for emergencies and such. I've only given my cell number to my immediate family and a few close friends. Mine is not attached to my ear 24/7.
The thing I really hate is how you can't go anyplace now without someone yapping away or their phone going off. This includes the library, classrooms, work and even the ladies' room. Yes, some women talk on their cell phones in the stalls. That really tees me off, but what can you do??

Couldn't live without mine. We haven't had a landline here at home in a long time. For the longest time, it was just my mom who had a cell phone here at home... then I got my phone on my 21st birthday last year. It's very, Very, VERY handy for if I need to get a ride (I will never be able to drive). It has also virtually eliminated my need to use an online relay website to place my calls.

Can't live without mine. Monday-Friday I am on it constantly. Be it for work or home. The weekends are usually less crazy, so I get a bit of a break. Would love to live without it, but right now that is not an option.

I couldn't live without mine. I don't have a landline, so it's my only lifeline. My mother would worry about me even more if she couldn't contact me through it.
My cell phone also doubles as a notebook and reminds me of things I need to do. Most importantly, it's my alarm clock. Life is possible without my little cell. But it certainly would be less portable. |

Well I say after school a lot so I need mine. I talk on the phone a lot but when I'm at home I'd rather use my home phone.

I can't say I can't live without it because I'm not on it all hours of the day. But if I didn't have it, I would be paranoid that something would happen, like I would break down somewhere out in the middle of nowhere. I use mine mostly for work anyway.
I'm not much of a phone person either and like 'catlover' said, I, too, hate that you can't walk anywhere, inside or out and be subjected to somebody else's conversation. Are people so self-involved that they think other people would really be so interested in what goes on in their lives? And talking to somebody while you're sitting on the toilet? Ewwwww! Here's hoping it slips out of your hand and falls in the toilet bowl!!
