I seen him wear a Farrah Fawcett shirt before, and in an episode the other day when he hired the girls back, he said he must be Charlie....because he got his Angels back. LOL

Yeah this was another of example of a Show on One Network making a positive reference to a Show on another Network. I asked a couple of months ago were there anymore examples after seeing the ABC show-"Growing Pains" making a Positive Reference to the NBC "Cosby Show"

I think that back then it wasn't as much of a big deal for a network as it is now. If I remember right, Charlie's Angels and Farrah Fawcett were so big because of her and the other girls and not the network. I mean when people thought of Farrah Fawcett I don't think they immediately thought of ABC.

Mel had a big poster of Farrah in his apartment too (which you'll see later this season, and a few times in the 3rd season)
