He was Bob the son in law in one episode (when Col Potter found out that he was cheating on his daughter)

and i think

he was the soldier who wanted to marry (Sung mi?) in another, to get her to the states for $$$$$$$$$$$$.

Col. Potter should have known he was kind of flaky. He should have watched that ep where his SIL wanted to marry that call-girl.

Were they so hard-up for actors that they had to recycle ? Remember my post where they recycled Co. Potter as a general.

The guy who played both Potter's son-inlaw Bob and MacShane was I think Dennis Dugan. I loved both eps!

I thought it was strange when the brought back John Orchard as a character named Muldoon rather than have him return as Ugly John. Ugly John was a great character from the beginning of the series and then he just vanished.

Col. Potter's son-in-law did not appear as two different characters. An actor by the name of Dennis Dugan appeared as two different characters, one of which happened to be Potter's son-in-law.

Several recurring guest actors played multiple parts on the show. I didn't have a problem with that.

John Orchard may not have been bad as Charles either (had he not been Ugly John first that is).
