the reason why she was breaking the date is because he came on to both her and Flo. It made no sense for her to be so polite over the phone.

I know!!! Also, whey didn't they both say anything when Greg came in the diner to pick up Vera???!!!! I would have been on him so fast, he wouldn't know what hit him.

Exactly, if that was my friend and knowing the type of guy he was, I would have prevented her from going on that date.

Oh hell yeah, me too. Especially since it was Vera, you would think the girls would have been on that guy and tell Vera straight out what he was all about. I mean, Greg didn't seem concerned at all that he was hitting on two friends, I wouldn't trust him with naive Vera.
