50?!? Wow! I would've guessed maybe 40 as the oldest. She looks great.

There's plenty of women now that look fantastic in their 50s. People magazine just ran that most beautiful issue (with Drew Barrymore on the cover) and they had a whole page of women through the ages who were "up there" and still considered hot.

Dove is also running a campaign of "everyday" women in their 50s who look great (and they do!)

lol - my mother always used to tell me that once a woman was in her mid-thirties she should cut her hair short and dress more conservatively - no matter what. I'm so glad that's all changed. If you look at the older tv shows you can see "mothers" that are in their mid-thirties, but by today's standards look older.

I felt fantastic last weekend when we were in a store geared more for the younger crowd (my husband is 49 and I'm 46). The "kids" tried to guess our ages and they couldn't believe it when I told them my age - they thought I was in my early 30s. And no - they weren't trying to sell us anything.

She is! Just double-checked and she's the one they list for beauty at age 50 Christie Brinkley is listed for 53. They also have a section of beauty over 60 and they still look fabulous:

Helen Mirren (the one who played Queen Elizabeth)
Farrah Fawcett, Glenn Close (?), Sally Field, Candice Bergen & Susan Sarandon (?)

Actually they go right up to 73 with Judi Dench. Sophia Loren is 72 and looks absolutely incredible.

A little off topic, but in the same issue they have a pic of America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) and she's incredibly beautiful!

She does look really good. BTW, she's Asian and Scotch-Irish (for the poster that mentioned her heritage.)
