I think Alex on Family Ties did at some point in the series. It wasn't with Ellen or Lauren, though.

Even though this isn't a sitcom, James at 15 took a lot of heat when they had the title character lose his virginity. They went the whole nine yards; discussing contraceptives and such. The drama was cancelled shortly thereafter.

Amy on ELR's first time was at age 33 with Robert. They were caught with the curtains open, oops.

To answer your question, yes, it was Snake. He was played by Robert Romanus, who also played Damone in Fast Times At Ridgemont High.

I dont know if this counts but Theo was living with Justine in one episode of TCS, and in a dream sequence he was preg. along with the other guys. I assume it was insinuated that him and Justine were sexually active, why else make a big deal about them living together?

She was not someone we ever saw on screen.

Although few people expected it, I was happy to see Simon Camden be the first Camden kid to have sex outside of marriage on 7th Heaven. It made for an entertaining few episodes, to see Mom and Dad all nervous!

"James at 15" I believe this was one of the first television programs to deal with the subject of a teenaged character, here Lance Kerwin as James Hunter, losing their viriginity. And this whole subject was so controversial back in the late '70's, that the next episode had to deal with James fearing he had gotten a sexually transmitted disease from his first sexual experience.
