Not shown, but in certain few and in between episodes, there were examples of pornography mentioned...

One I can think of is:

"X-Rated"- Sanford and Son

On Friends, sometimes the guys would watch porn. There was one episode where the tv was stuck on a Spanish porn station.

On an episode of the Golden Girls Sophia rented a dirty movie and Dorothy caught her. It was really funny. Sophia was eating popcorn when Dorothy walked in on her watching the movie. Dorothy tried to stop it but made the tape fast forward instead. Rose and Blanche walked in when the tape was fast forwarding. It was great!

Gotta love Sophia!

On Barney Miller, Det. Ron Harris made a porn flick. On WKRP, Herb and Les (I think) ended up in a porno theater. You didn't see the movie itself but the audience all leaning to the side at the same time (it was a 3-D flick)!

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Designing Women ep. where Julia drives into a newsstand that's stelling porn across from her house. It's one of my fave DW eps.

Also, on Mary Tyler Moore, didn't WJM once get exclusive footage of a raid on a porn theater just b/c some of the cameramen happened to be there? LOL

On Roseanne there was a reference to Dan having "adult" magazines when they thought DJ got into trouble for bringing them to school.

heres an old one on an ep of the paul lynde show paul who plays a lawer on the show had to defend a man who had a porno palace in his neighborhood his reactions to seeing the porno movie up on the screen are priceless.

I just thought of another one. On Wings, during Joe's bachelor party, Roy sent Lowell down to the hotel lobby to get some "appropriate" movies, (since the hotel had the last working Beta machine in existance, LOL), and Lowell came back with Terms of Endearment. They also had Deep Throat, but Lowell said, "Haven't we heard enough about Watergate?"

I love that ep!

In the fifth episode of Barney Miller, "The Courtesans", Yemana and Harris were assigned to check out a theater that was selling tickets to a porno to minors. The name of the movie was "A Man and a Woman and Another Woman".

They were pretty happy about being assigned to the case.
