On the episode I'm watching now from season 6, "Beaver Sees America," Whitey introduces himself to June on the phone as "Hubert."

This is the first time I've heard Whitey's real name. Was it mentioned in the earlier years?

I just watched it on TV Land too.

I don't remember anyone else ever calling him by his real name.

Apparently Miss Canfield called him "Harold" in and early episode, but everything I've read officially lists him as "Hubert."
