Default Ever consider this for the Divorce scenario??

Kevin James is leaving because he is doing movies now and can't commit to KOQ anymore.

Maybe a divorce senario is plausable for a possible spinoff.

Maybe they try to do a show with Carrie divorced in manhattan..

Is it at least plausable?

just food for thought. It is nothing I read or heard as a rumor..Just something that could be considered.

I don't like that ending because I don't want Doug and Carrie to divorce at all. They could do a spin off other ways then divorcing in my opinion.

Don't really think it would fly. Doug is the comedy of the show much more than Carrie.

The only spinoff I could see possibly viable would be for Danny and Spence.

btw - what MOVIES has he done of late? I sure can't really think of any. Lot's of people have done movies while doing a sitcom. Not to put Kevin James down (I do like him), but really - are the offers floading in THAT much?!?

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is coming to theaters in July. That's his movie with Adam Sandler.
Right now he's filming two movies. "Field Trip" and "Monster Hunter."

if they divorce it will ruin all the last 9 season. i dont think i remember ever in tv history a tv series.....a really popular one.......ending with the divorce of the main characters. if they do....watching re-runs isnt gonna be the same~! and anyways, i think kevin james is already in negotiations or has agreed to do another tv show where he (the main character) inherits a country or is the king or monarch of some country. it's supposed to be a comedy.

I wouldn't worry about it. From the previews it doesn't appearing to be happening.

well I pulled it out of the air. There is no rumor of any spinoff.

But a single Carrie in the city stuck with Arthur could garner a few scripts..

I have seen worse.

WELL I never understood that too much...My sister is like you...She couldn't watch reruns of All in the Family because Mike turned out to be a deadbeat and Edith died suddenly...

I remember reading Who's the Boss ended without marriage because they thought it would ruin syndication "that show sucked anyway"

People get attached to these shows and forget. It is a TV show. all fake...

A divorce would not ruin the enjoyment I had watching this series or watching the DVDs of it.

If anything, all the previous episodes will give you reasons to beleive why they divorced. Doug & Carrie have done tons of horrible things to each other, so a divorce doesn't sound like a bad idea to end the series.

Hmmmmm..... Arthur's marriage falls through, he can't go back home because Doug and Carrie are raising their baby so he moves in with Spence and Danny. Sounds like laughs to me. Wouldn't happen though because Stiller could barely handle doing KOQ due to the travel and old age.

Based on the script by John Scott Shepherd, "Bob" focuses on an average guy who inherits the world's smallest sovereign nation and becomes a monarch. No director is currently attached, though eventually that may change.

Tom Shadyac and Michael Bostick are in place to produce for their Shady Acres shingle.

After an improbably long run, "King of Queens" will come to an end this spring, shortly after passing the 200-episode milestone and earning James his first Emmy nomination last year.

On the feature side, James had a showy supporting role in the Will Smith smash "Hitch" and will next share the screen with Adam Sandler in the not-so-gay marriage comedy "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry."
