This part was cut out on TVLand, but I have it on tape. One of the most "comfortable" scenes on Leave it to Beaver was when Ward took them all camping and Wally and Beaver wanted to stay and watch Jungle Fever at the theatre.

The "comfortable" (scene that just makes you feel good) part to me is when Wally and Beaver are in bed watching the fire and listening to the clanging on the old pot bellied stove. It is warm and cozy and the boys are pretending that there are pirates and fighting....then it switches to bears,...! I hate that they cut that part. It reminds me of being a kid and using my imagination to have all sorts of adventures. It is a great scene.

They must have put the scene back in because I've seen that episode several times on TV Land and that scene is there.
