...asked for another divorce??? It didn't make too much sense to me why she was so upset.

It was clear Flo still had feelings for him, and she was somewhat insecure due to the fact that he was a good deal younger than she was. On a side note, Polly Holliday stated in an interview that she wanted Flo's second ex-husband to be a "mystery" and insisted that he never be talked about. As a result, that was the only ex who never made an appearance on any episode of ALICE.
