She needs $600 for Tommy's teeth, $40,000 turns up in the diner and she wants to turn it in to the police. At least Mel, Flo, Tommy and even Vera was down for keeping the money. She even tried to call the police to turn it in. Alice is a goody-two shoes, just like she mentioned in this episode.

What is wrong with being a goody-two shoes?? I would have done the same thing Alice did and turn in the money.

I'm sorry, but $40,000 would be talking to me. There is nothing wrong with being a goody-two shoes. I wouldn't have told that old lady that I found a paper bag with money in it either.

There's a later episode where Flo says something to the effect of "You and your sickening integrity" to Alice
