Shazbot, that makes him the 4th one from the Mork and Mindy cast to pass away. 1) Ralph James (Orson) 2) Elizabeth Kerr (Cora) 3) Robert Donner (Exidor) So sad.

I remember not liking many of the changes that came with M&M as it transitioned from season 1 to 2. However, the choice of making Tom Poston's character more prominent was I think the best decision that show ever made.

I'm old enough to remember Tom Poston as one of the "Men on the Street" on
the old STEVE ALLEN SHOW on NBC Sunday nights in prime time. He was the poor jerk who could never remember his own name(!). I followed his career from his work with Steve to MORK & MINDY and, finally, to NEWHART. He was one of the great low-key comedians. He is sadly missed. |
