Default Johnny Gosch case

I recently read an article about Johnny Gosch, a kid who went missing in 1982. The kid was never seen again but the case is very unusual as her mother reported that Johnny had contacted her in 1997. In 2006 she received some photos of 3 kids bound and gagged, one of the kids resembles Johnny.

However many people think the photos are unrelated to Johnny's case.

I wonder if UM showed an episode about this case.

Its an interesting case and we've discussed it on here a bit in the past but UM never profiled it. Speaking in the most general terms UM rarely profiled cases from the 70s or very early 80s. I'm not saying they didn't (The Breckenridge Colorado "Orange Sock Murders" was in 1982 and was profiled) but mainly the first episodes which aired in 1987 for the most part dealt with cases from 1985 & 1986 and as the series went along they usually dealt with cases that were more current.

For example Don Henry/Kevin Ives ("Boys On The Tracks") case took place in the summer of 1987 and was profiled on UM in the fall of 1988. There were exceptions though like I said but Johnny Gosch was not among them.

AUGH. DarkDante... I have no clue who the woman in your picture is. Is that "Suzanne," or am I totally reaching here?

She's seriously familiar, though.

EDIT: Ah-hah! After a bit of web sleuthing, I found that this is Suzanne Davis, aka Tonya Hughes, aka Sharon Marshall! I remembered!

^ LOL if you could tell me who the woman in the picture I use for my avatar is you'd make a lot of people happy.

For our purposes she is known as either Sharon Marshall, Suzanne Davis or Tonya Dawn Hughes.

Is this the case involving a scumbag with a name similar to a former US president? As a far as I remember,he was involved in the murder of "Tonya Dawn Hughes"(investigators thought that this wasn´t her real name),then he kidnapped his son from his school at gunpoint, took the principal as hostage, and then tied him to a tree, but I can´t remember any more details about this case.

Franklin Delano Floyd is the name of the scumbag. I remember reading in the websleuths webpage that there was speculation that he might have been involved in the Tara Calico´s dissapearance case, since he was in the southwestern US around the time Tara went missing and that he abruptly moved back to Florida (where Tara´s 1st picture with the boy was found), and that he used to photograph his victims and pics were found in a truck he owned after it was sold. I think it´s only speculation, but I really don´t know.

I read the book A Beautiful Child by Matt Birkbeck. Fascinating case. I read it in a matter of days, it was so good I couldn't put it down. I'm always hoping someone will crack the mystery of her identity someday. Just think, if Franklin Delano Floyd, who is rotting in prison, would just tell who she really was but I highly doubt he ever will.

has anyone else been to Johny Gosch's mom's website? ugh it's gross, that lady is really crazy. she just posts these nasty pictures of naked little boys tied up. It was interesting when there were pictures of her son that surfaced somewhat recently but after seeing how crazy she is, she probably made it all up.

I haven't been to Noreen's site since she started posting pics of naked, tied up little boys because it's starting to look like a kiddy porn site. I have to wonder, by posting those pictures, isn't she guilty of possessing child porn?

Johnny's case is very sad, but the only fact we seem to have is that he's missing and has never been found. The rest like the supposed visit, the photos and some conspiracy theory that'll melt your tin-foil hat are just conjecture. I have to wonder about the people Noreen aligns herself with. One woman, her name escapes me, claims her son is in the pictures too but her son is actually not missing and has nothing to do with his mother. The same woman claims she's the real Queen of England. I think Noreen has gone crazy with grief over her son's kidnapping. I feel for the woman, but I don't think she's stable at all.
