Tag Scenes During the Ending Credits - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was watching my ODAAT season 1 dvd today and I noticed that a few episodes had tag scenes during the ending credits. Sorta like Frasier, where the musics playing and something is happening. I never really paid much attention to the ODAAT ending credits before, just figured they were showing clips from the episode but when I watched the end of "David Loves Ann" and Schneider came back into the apt and left a bottle of champagne for David and Ann while the credits were rolling, I was like "What's going on here?". So I checked out the other episodes I had watched already and saw a few more tag scenes during the end credits. I thought that was pretty cool.

I'm sure most or all ODAAT fans already knew this, but I can't believe I never noticed this before.

Did they do this a lot or was it only during the first season?

I'm not sure which season 1 ep this is but the Tag scene has Ann coming back into the APT with the end credits rolling. Before the ep ended she had left the Apt. not sure which one that episode is from season 1

That's from the episode "Chicago Rendezvous" the one where Ann decides not to go to Chicago with her boyfriend. I didn't even notice that the first time I watched it, I had to go back and check out some of the ending credits. I'm definitely going to pay more attention to the credits from now on.

I don't uderstand the logic behind showing a TAG Scene that a Viewer can't Hear-LOL What's the point if the End Credits are Rolling with the closing theme

I thought that was a neat little idea. I've only seen the first season, so I don't know if they kept it up.

I didn't see any Tag scenes in the 79-80 eps
