Default We Miss You, Eve

I really enjoyed the Brady Bunch tribute on The TVLand Awards; all the clips they showed, everyone looks great, its obvious they love each other and the Ann B. Davis ovation was awesome! We all know why Robert Reed couldn't participate, but what about Eve Plumb?

I wish she would lighten up and acknowledge the fact that she was a part of something unique, wonderful, positive, world-renowned and bigger than herself. She acts as if she is ashamed of what she did and her TV family is foolish for enjoying their popularity. It wouldn't hurt her to just go and stand there. She wouldn't have had to speak or dance. I wish she would realize that we love ALL the Bradys and her absence in just about everything kind of spoils it.

I understand a person's desire for privacy and I am sure she has her reasons for not acknowledging her fans, but after all, she was "the most popular girl!"

They should have brought in Fake Jan just to tick her off.

What's so nice is seeing the other Brady's always participating and giving us fans the chance to see them grow up.

I wish Eve would do the same thing. She has alot of fans and we enjoyed her on the show. She is missed.

Wasn't EP angry because none of them get residuals for the series (or at the very least, hardly anything)?

Well a few years ago TvLand did A Very Brady reunion. It was hosted by Jenny McCarthy. Eve was on it. She seemed happy and excited to be there.
Maybe Eve was doing something else or was sick.

I was disappointed as well... I wonder if we'll ever get an explanation as to why she missed out.

I really love Jan Brady and think Eve played her to perfection but her absence on the TV Land show reminds me of the time when Jan wanted to be an only child. She has the least charisma of any of the Bunch in real life and looks like she should be on antidepressants, lighten the heck up, Miss!

I do not think anything should be presumed about Eve Plumb not being on the recent TVLand Awards. And I have to agree with some of the things she has said about her character and TBB; that the type was cast (or however actors say it) and she has spent most of her post-Brady life trying to get past it, so naturally she's very particular about continuing identification with the show. And above all, of her explanation about fan disappointment with this: "What's been hard for people to understand is that The Brady Bunch is not my life." http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000589/bio

Eve's presence was missed, I'm glad Ann got an ovation she deserves it.
