I wasted Tape recorded this dumb sh*t tonight so I can see the elimination and ryan seacreast says how can they eliminate anyone on charity Night? So all the votes will carry over to next week and two people will be eliminated next wedenesday. I know whever watched this live was pissed off they wasted their time

i REALLY dont see why they couldnt have done this on a seperate night. people tune into other charity events so it'd get big ratings. not to mention 6 perfomances wouldn't have been wasted. they shouldve had this on Monday and then done a normal week of AI for Tuesday and Wednesday. its stupid IMO.

I'm glad I don't American Idol Live-lol Can you imagine how PISSED someone would be? Ryan even did the same thing he does on a regular elimination, he was saying who was Safe and then he led up to saying no one is going home. He is a certified a$$hole

It totally sucked, and interestingly the ratings were WORSE than a usual episode(even at 9) and 8pm was MUCH lower than last week or Tuesday Night. This show is really dropping.

The first half of FOX's "Idol Gives Back" telethon/results show scored a 13.9/23 at 8 p.m. CBS' "Jericho" was second for the hour at 5.0/9. "According to Jim," 3.6/6, and "Notes from the Underbelly," 3.3/5, put ABC in third. NBC went with a repeat of "Thank God You're Here." An "America's Next Top Model" clip show scored a 2.7/4 for The CW.

"Idol Gives Back" rose to 16.3/26, the night's best rating, at 9 p.m. A "Criminal Minds" rerun, 6.6/10, kept CBS in second, while NBC moved up to third with "Crossing Jordan," 4.2/6. ABC ran a "Lost" repeat to take fourth, ahead of The CW's rerun of the "Search for the Next Doll" finale.
