I have read some reviews of "Taxi" from here and other places before, and I was just wondering:
1. About the fact that "Taxi" has no special features on any of its sets-- will that impede my viewing experience if I should ever get it? 2. Did "Taxi" ever have anything raunchy while it was on-- that or anything very or even remotely objectionable? 3. Finally, it has been said (I don't know whether it was said here) that the "Taxi" sets have Paramount's "Mountain of Monotony", but with the original jingle(s) of the '70's and '80's-- is this correct? The reason that I asked these questions is because I had seen at least the first season's worth in the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Simpsonville, and I shied away from it, figuring that it might have been a waste of money. Was I correct or incorrect in that respect? |

I liked it a lot when it was new, and I've gotten the DVDs from Blockbuster and have been happy.......if you aren't sure, have a friend tape a few episodes from cable so you can make up your mind. Does your library offer any?
As far as raunchiness, I do belive one episode was about a gay guy who liked Tony, but nothing more than that...one character was a big womanizer but it didn't go that far on screen. Don't forget it was filmed a long time ago, in an era with very different morals!!!!! |

As far as the raunchiness, if that's as far as it really goes, I don't think that it'll be all that bad. Thank you for the response-- I really appreciate it. |

You might want to rent it from Netflix, I've revisited Barney Miller and Night Court that way. You can subscribe for $5 a month now.
