Default What was 3s Company Saddest Moment?

I can think of alot of sad moments for 3s C but in my opinon, the saddest was when jack realized that janet was moving out after her and phillip got married, and jack was in utter shock, it was too bad that jack and janet couldnt have stayed togather instead. and it was sad how they booted joyce for mary to do 3s a crowd.

I think #2 saddest moment would be when that scumbag covinced janet that she was going to be a great dancer but had only wanted her as his personal toy, and how janet fealt afterward. thats was real sad too

What do you think was 3 Cs saddest moment?

The one where Teri was played by Soap star Brett Wade. Frigging doosh.

Also, where Jack and Janet thought that Chrissy was going to die. It was funny but geez.

when theyre crying with their luggage in the last scene of the series. well, the last scene they were all in. and then they turn off the lights and its like, SO emotional. and then some bright happyass commercial flips on and ruins the mood.

My pick would be in the last episode when Terri turns around to glance into the apartment one more time before turning off the light and then closing the door on it forever.

The entire last episode (both parts). I can't even watch those anymore. I hate goodbyes, and I feel that the last Three's Company episodes weren't a proper goodbye...not at all.

I'm a grown man and that makes me cry!!!

Actually, I turn the channel when the episode comes on where Janet meets her husband to be at the reading of that will. I hate that he came in and ruined the show for me!

The last episode. What's funny is, I haven't seen it and refuse to see it. I've been a TC fan for about 15 years and I still refuse to watch that ep. Go figure!!

I definitely think when Jack and Janet realize that they will no longer be living together is the saddest moment. I recently watched the entire 8 seasons and when that part came up, it really depressed me. It was like, oh no! I can't believe the series is going to be over!

I'm knocking on this door a bit late, but I'd like to join in anyway.

Yes, the ending is bittersweet, but now in the age of DVD, there's a way to soften the blow. The key to watching the final episode of THREE'S COMPANY without getting too depressed is to immediately follow up by watching the first episode of the series. By going back to the very beginning when Jack, Janet, Chrissy, and the Ropers appeared for the very first time, you take the sting out of watching how it ended by once again seeing how it all began...and all the laughs to come.

In fact, I think even ABC was cognizant of this; I vaguely remembered that immediately after showing the final episode of THREE'S COMPANY, ABC rebroadcast the first episode...to help fans remember how it was in the beginning.
