I just love 80's music well I am not a big fan of the hard rock, I do like a couple hard rock songs but 80's rock and pop are my favorites from that decade. Then the 70's come in second but I am not a big fan of the 70's disco I like a few disco songs but not a whole lot I like 70's rock and easy rock best. I do love 90's coutry music best out of country music and I do like today's country 2nd then the 80's country but just a few country songs from the 60's and 70's.

Probably the 60's to the 90's That classic rock of the 60's the easy listening of the 70's, the begining of rap music in the 80's and the great flare of other types of music of the 80's and the realness of rap music in the 90's .

It's a tough call between the 60s and 70s. I guess overall, if I had to choose only one it would be the 70s since I has the most memories connected with that decade.

The 70's! You had the Who, the Stones, Zeppelin, Springsteen and countless others all in their prime making classic records and songs that will be played on radio stations forever. I can't even think of 1 rock song from the 70's that I don't like. I cannot say that about any other decade.

The 1950s, mainly because of vocal group music (also known as "Doo-Wop").

The 1960s (actually, 1960-1964), general rock music and folk music from bands such as The New Christy Minstrels and the Brothers Four. I also like the surf music from that era (Beach Boys, Jan & Dean).

1970s, I am most familiar with this music because I was in my teens for most of the decade. Favorites: The Eagles, E.L.O., Fleetwood Mac, Doobie Brothers (up to 1975), Heart, Little River Band, Billy Joel, Chicago.

I love music from the 50s and 60s, and of course, the 80s. However, if I've gotta pin it down to just one decade, it'd have to be the 70s. There's just so much about that time that I absolutely love, even what everybody considers soft rock. Plus, you've got disco. How can you beat it?

You could not be more right, Justin. Even though there was some great music made during the 1980's and early 1990's, I think the best period for music was the late 1960's and all of the 1970's. There was The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Bruce Springsteen, The Bee Gees, Genesis, The Rolling Stones, Chicago, Elton John, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Donna Summer, The Doors...

What a great question!! I love music from the 50s through the 90s. I grew up listening to a lot of the music my parents liked (Beatles, Motown, Everly Brothers, Ritchie Valens, Roy Orbison, Connie Francis, Lesley Gore, Carpenters, Mamas & Papas) while listening to the current pop music of the 80s and 90s. I could be listening to Mariah Carey or Celine Dion, then go in the car with my dad and listen to the Righteous Brothers or Elvis. Even now I have a very wide selection in my CD/tape collection.

Cool

The 80's, because it was the Golden Age of Metal. Maiden, Priest, Dio, Metallica (before the haircuts), Megadeth, Ozzy with Randy Rhoads, Sabbath with Dio, Dio (without Sabbath), Anthrax, and RUSH.
