The only desk I use is at work. At home, I use the kitchen table to write.

On my desk is my computer, my phone, literature sorters where I keep my catalogs and sales fliers, and it has a shelf where I keep a box of tissues, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, a tape dispenser, a calculator, a pencil cup, a coaster with a bottle of pop or water on it. My cubicle walls are filled with photos as well as my calendar. Nothing too exciting, but homey.

You're in luck, because I JUST decluttered my desk. Well, the main part of it, anyway. It's an old-as-hell desk, and it's not cool enough to have drawers on it or any of that stuff, so everything is exposed. Heh. It was made in the days when more horizontal towers were being made, than vertical towers, so the only space I have for my tower is on the floor, under the keyboard drawer.

Let's see.

Top shelf: Flashlight, computer stereo, a box of Kleenex, an empty holiday bottle of Coke from December 2005, a desk lamp, a day-by-day calendar, the cable box & wireless router, coffee mug that holds all pens, scissors, etc. and a little wicker box that holds small miscellaneous items, plus calculators.

Main shelf: Flatscreen monitor, my gigantic coffee mug, my stupid piece of sh*t HP printer, a Stamart coffee cup, some books and a graphing notebook.

Third shelf (next to keyboard drawer): A hell of a LOT of CDs, photo printer, a box with more CDs, two boxes of envelopes, and a gaming controller (it's the blue thing). There's more behind that, but this is what is visible in this picture.

Bottom shelf: a tin box that I got in 1990 or 1991 that actually has blank sheets of paper inside, a box of paper CD sleeves, computer paper, paper, and even more paper. A three-hole puncher. Two spare keyboards. The big black thing way in the back there is a file folder box.

I work in a factory so I don't have a work desk. But at home I have the printer, stacks of paper, 2 small speakers and a jar of pencils & pens and a coaster for my drink on the desk.

Top shelf: a doll that looks like the health teacher my friends and I had in high school (They bought it for me as a gag gift one year), a little mini bus that has the word 'Peace' on it, a blue Magical Mystery Tour candle I've had since 1998 that I haven't used yet, a mini troll figurine, a turtle made of seashells that my best friend got me, a teddy bear stuffed animal (it has fairy wings...yet another thing my best friend got me), a mushroom shaped incense holder that I've had since 1997, two purple candles, a red piggy bank, a red ceramic cup filled with pens, a Mcdonalds Happy meal toy (it's a black cat or something), a little jewlery holder that has a fairy sitting on top of it, an empty glass candle holder with a pretty sparkly design on the front, a Beatles lunch box, and my computer speakers

Middle shelf: a deck of tarot cards in their box, a small instruction book on tarot card reading, two Beanie babies that are Beatles themed (there's Paul the Walrus and Ringo the racoon), a couple of Beanie babies I got from when I worked at Mcdonalds in 1998 (a crab and a donkey), three stuffed animals (they're pretty small...I have a pig and two cats), glow in the dark devil duckies, two picture frames, a c.d, a scrap of paper with some phone numbers on it, and a metal sign painted pink that spells out KRISTEL on it (my Dad made it for me when I was a baby).

Bottom shelf: This is my main desk where the computer monitor and tower sit. I have quite a few scraps of paper on it, as well as a box of envelopes. There's also an empty glass sitting here from last night when I got thirsty My keyboard and mouse/mouse pad are on the pull-out directly in front of me. Also, on top of my computer is a Rainbow Brite sprite doll (the green one).

Last shelf: Right below the computer/tower shelf are two other shelves (one pulls out and the other doesn't). The one that pulls out has about 6 Care Bear cousins dolls sitting on it, as well as a stack of printer paper. The shelf beneath it was meant for the printer, but since it's broke it sits empty for now

It sounds like a lot of stuff, but most of it is tiny, so it doesn't really take up much space.

I have a picture DVD of my trip to Detroit, a Canadian penny, six clear thumb tacks, and four VHS movies that I've been trying to sell on Ebay, but have had little luck with. That's all I have on my computer desk.
