Somebody contacted me and they said they are a member of sitcomsonline, but when I clicked search, no info appeared. Their names, after every email is Maria & Alex and the supposedly username here is tvshowstore. They are from South America (Florianopolis), Brazil I just googled it. Thanks.

Proceed with caution for any trader from Brazil. There have been quite a few scammers from there. If you haven't been able to verify they are a member and gotten some good feedback, I would not do a trade. See this thread:

It is a scam... I was contacted also... They used this e-mail address: mhelenatv@yahoo.com. I got their snail mail address and it matched exactly to an address on the known bad trader list. Better to do without you want than to be without. They were looking for big $$ in retail DVDs from me. When asked if they would send first I got a rather snippy e-mail telling me they don't do business like that. Yeah... OK... Stay away.

Yup I was scammed by her too. She gave me a long list of references that I actually did contact and they all claimed she was a good trader. I was stupid enough to send first (she claimed to have the full series of Sightings and I became desperate...) and then she claimed that my package got stopped by customs because I didn't fill out the forms correctly, then she tried to get me to order her a bunch of stuff from Cduniverse and claimed she would western union me the money AFTER she got them, it is then I realized that I had been scammed. She claims that the package is on the way back to me but its been way over 2 months and I haven't gotten anything. Her name, address, website and email:

She/He is a real winner. I just glanced at their website out of curiosity and the (3) very hard / impossible to find shows that she "had" ready to send me aren't even listed there. Yet, if I sent her almost $300 in retail DVDs from CD universe... What? They would suddenly appear? It must be nice not to have a conscience.
