It's a long story, but there was one episode found. Those people who were fortunate to get a copy of it apparently prefer to remain anonymous. You can ask til you're blue in the face, and you'll never see it, unless someone else (besides the secret society) comes forward.

Still don't understand what is the big deal about this series, what did it run 4 weeks or so?

I'd like to see the people who have a copy of this show come forward and let everyone know what rare item they want in return.

Let me clear something up about my earlier post. The person who had the episode originally was tormented by people wanting it sent to them only, and requests that it not be sent to so and so, etc. That person just wanted to get rid of it, so people would stop fighting about it. It wasn't even something that was wanted. It was on a tape that was found and there was a message posted about it. That's when the emails started. My problem is not with that person, who is someone I respect and I know to be very generous and honest. My issue is with the people who were able to get a copy from the tape. If those people want to keep it to themselves, then there is nothing that can be done about it. However, if everyone went through their list and decided upon themselves what was rare and no longer for trade, it would really take the fun out of trading. That is what has happened. Remember that you realy don't "own" what you have. You own the media that a show is on, not the show itself.

Glad you cleared that up T,

I knew I hadn't pegged you wrong although the last post had me wondering.

For the record I really believe the recent interest again in the show is all based on greed and the fact some people won't leave things alone.

Have they released the 1980-81 season of Jeffersons already, they should have included Checking In as an extra feature!!

What I remember from that season is the 3 part episode to start the season filmed in Hawaii!!

The 1980-81 season is the next season to be released on DVD, hopefully. The 1979-80 season was just released on March 27th
