Florence And mother jefferson

i was watching The Season 2 episode:A Dinner For Harry and mother Jeffersons and Florence had a good interaction(for like 10 seconds).
Florence answer the door and mother Jefferson come in
Mother Jefferson: Florence how about a bloody mary?
Florence:no think i don't drink while on the job(what made it funny was how she said it).
i found that funny because Mother Jefferson was asking for a bloody nary not if Florence want one,i think that the only time Florence and Mother Jefferson ever talked,there was other episode where they were in the same room but i think that was one of there few interaction.

Correct, that was the only time they ever interacted with each other and the only time they were in the same scene during the entire series

Three more- at the end of the one where Florence is abducted when George opens his new office they are in the same scene (Mother Jefferson is counting the ransom money) and they interact (although somewhat superficially) in The Last Leaf where they, Louise and Helen are eating a dessert at the start of that story. Also in the first episode- A Friend in Need- Florence thinks Mother Jefferson is the cook whuch offends her and has the audience laughing.

Ok, I forgot those but the two characters only interacted with each other Once on the show.

I find that very odd, I'm surprised they didn't have more interaction between one another. Both together would be a scream.
