In the ep-"Mother-in-Law". She walks in and quickly lets Floknow she is too old to be wearing a short skirt, tells mel that if he is supposed to be a boss why does he have that dumb hat on his head and told Vera she was not Marriage Material-LOL

I was like-"SHE IS ON THE MONEY"

I was lauhging because everything she said was what I was saying to myself when I first started watching it-lol Especially with Mel, I was wondering why he had that dumb a$$ hat on and dirty V-Neck T-shirt

God, that shirt is so dirty and ugly. And you can easily see it from the dining room area. Why let customers see you all dirty like that? GROSS!

For once, I have to agree with you! The woman was rude, outspoken, but most of all, she was funny! I was cracking up all episode. This woman didn't stop insulting. For 30 minutes, everything that came out of her mouth was a put down. I expected Mel to get in her face. I haven't seen this episode in a long time! She was a scene stealer! LOL

I was going to post that too.

But Vera was waaaay different in the later seasons than she was in the first season. She no longer needed that "special bus".

Thank You for giving Vera some credit. She seemed to have smartened up over the years. She was a lot better. I used to feel so sorry for her in the beginning.

So did I. You could only be dingy for so long. I preferred how the writers gave her some smarts and livened her up so much.
