that stupid moron joey crawford just threw tim duncan out of the spurs/mavs game because he thought that tim duncan was showing him up on the bench aqll i saw was tim laughing but like they said he could have been laughing at anything he dint say a word didnt yell when ccrawford gave him a foul earler in the game aand just played though it did crawford take an extra amount of stupid pills today? i have a few name for joey crawford right now but most of them would get me thrown out of here what an idiot.

Yeah I saw that bullsh*it. It's obvious they want the Mavericks to win at home. You can't even breathe in the NBA nowadays, which is why I don't too much watch it anymore. Tim Duncan had every right to laugh and be loose on the bench. After that, Josh Howard bumped into Ginolbli and they called the foul on Ginolbli. They Mavs were looosing and they are trying to give them every break they can.

I think Duncan should have kept his mouth shut after that first technical. I didn't see anybody else laughing. It was obvious to me that he was laughing at the ref's call.

Crawford showed me today that what he did to Tim Duncan was personal, which in my mind is very UNprofessional!

I thought Tim deserved it. Joey Crawford was actually really patient with him I thought. He had to have been on the bench laughing for atleast five minutes. If I were a referee, and some guy sat on the bench laughing at me, and trying to show me up, I'd throw his ass out of the game in two seconds. And no, I don't have low self esteem, I just don't put up with that kind of childish bull****!! You want to talk about unprofessional, it doesn't get much more unprofessional then laughing at a guy who's been in the league for over 30 years. Duncan went way overboard trying to showboat to his team, and got exactly what he deserved as far as I'm concerned.

Duncan may have been laughing at Crawford but there was no way for Crawford to know that. He wasn't next to Duncan listening to any of the conversation going on. Just because he's been in the league for 30 years doesn't mean he's abouve scrutiny. The bad calls he was making before Duncan got ejected were rediculous. I would have to say that Duncan was laughing at the call Crawford had just made. But so were about 3 or 4 others on the bench. Why not give them techs too?? He went and singled out Duncan which is a bit on the unprofessional side too.

I don't think he's above scrutiny, I just think scrutiny is unjustified in this situation. Like I said, Crawford showed alot of latitude by letting it go on as long as it did. As far as the other players, and why they weren't ejected, it's probably because Duncan was the ring leader, and they were only laughing because he was. Crawford probably knew that if he got rid of the ring leader, the laughing would stop, which it did. I've seen people get tossed for doing far less then what Duncan did, like softly speaking their disaproval to the ref, and I rarely hear fans complain about that. I don't know, personally I'd rather have a player say a couple inappropriate words to me, than to have them laugh at me for five minutes, but that's just me.

He wasn't laughing at him for 5 minutes. He started laughing right after another BS call by Crawford. Along with everyone else on the bench. And the laughing didn't stop after he gave Duncan the Tech. Everyone was in shock at first then they started shaking their heads and laughing in disbelief. You would think that after 30 years Crawford would be above that kind of pettyness. But he did come from a family of MLB umpires and all of those A-Holes think they can walk on water so his attitude is not suprising

From what I saw, I thought it was a good call on Crawford's part. To me, it seemed like Duncan was intentionally trying to bring attention on himself, and unfortunately for him, he got his wish. Tim Duncan's my second favorite player, so it's hard for me to say this, but I have to be honest.
